Mobile phone CW key

Sometimes high tech communication devices fail. This phone was hit and didn't survive.
However, the phone can still be used in connecting people if it is modified to a CW key.
A view after some screwdriver work. We boys like to disassemble appliances.
Inside the phone keyboard switches. One of them was drilled through and a suitable wire was soldered there as a keying contact.

Thicker cable to outside world was soldered like this.
Assembling the parts back again.
The key fits the hand nicely. Just connect it to a transceiver and start to communicate throughout the world. No more mobile phone bills to pay.
